Today, CMA CGM let out a press release stating changes in both prices and surcharges. The statement informs its customers of implementing a Local Port Charge applicable to cargo bound for Tema & Takoradi, Ghana.
Starting June 25, 2022, ships from all walks of the earth that will be heading into Tema & Takoradi, or Ghana with cargo such as dry, reefer, OOG & Breakbulk will receive a quantum of USD 170/EUR 160/GBP 136 per 20′ or USD 340/EUR 320/GBP 272 per 40′. Payments will be collected upon the vessels’ entry into the ports.
CMA CGM concluded their announcement with a footnote stating that if more information is desired, contact your local company office.
