Formula 1 just gained some pop culture notoriety.
With the introduction of a new team, former Olympic champ Caitlyn Jenner signed a deal in Motorsport. The star will run a new team, Jenner Racing, in this season’s W Series.
Commenting about the big reveal, Jenner took to BBC to discuss her next venture, citing Danica Patrick as an igniter in NASCAR, but wanting inclusion to take the next step in Formula 1.
The Decathlon gold medalist is no stranger from this world, competing in the IMSA Sportscar Championship. Sponsored by Ford, she won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1986 and came second at the Daytona 24 Hours.
